Lucerne partially lifts barbecue ban as forest-fire risk eases

Canton Lucerne has partially relaxed its fire restrictions after storms and cooler weather reduced the risk in open areas. Fires in designated pits and charcoal barbecues are again permitted, but woodland fires, disposable barbecues, fireworks and sky lanterns remain prohibited.
