Swiss Foreign Minister Plans Strategic Asia Tour

In Tokyo, Cassis will engage in high-level discussions with Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, focusing on international issues and multilateral cooperation. On April 24, Minister Cassis will meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing for discussions on geopolitical developments and shared international interests. The visit includes participation in the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT), where Cassis will connect with Swiss machine tool company executives. The tour concludes in Shanghai with a visit to Schindler, a pioneer in Swiss-Chinese economic relations, and meetings with the Swiss community.
