ABB to form Asia-Pacific joint venture with Mitsubishi Electric

ABB will take a 51% stake in a joint venture with Mitsubishi Electric focused on low-voltage products in Asia-Pacific. The deal, valued at about $495 million, is intended to strengthen ABB’s position in Japan and the wider region.
