Swiss winter tourism expected to remain near record levels
Swiss economists expect about 18.7 million overnight stays during the 2026/27 winter tourism season, close to last winter’s record. Stronger demand from Europe is expected to offset weaker long-haul markets, while domestic demand is forecast to remain stable.
