Swiss government to cut Swissinfo funding by nearly half
The federal government has approved a new 2027–2030 mandate that cuts funding for Swissinfo’s international services from CHF18.8 million to CHF10.5 million. Portuguese and Japanese services and the Italian-language portal tvsvizzera.it are to be discontinued.
