Greenpeace says ocean protection target is centuries behind schedule
Greenpeace says only 3.5% of the world’s oceans are fully or largely protected, putting the international goal of protecting 30% by 2030 far out of reach at the current pace. The Swiss-based organisation is calling for connected marine protected areas, including across the Atlantic.
