Nestlé to sell vitamins business for $1 billion as it sharpens focus

Nestlé plans to sell its mainstream vitamins and supplements business to US private-equity firm Yellow Wood Partners for $1 billion. The disposal is part of CEO Philipp Navratil’s effort to streamline the group around coffee, petcare and food and snacks while reducing leverage.
